What is Kenya ‘Main trade?

Kenya is the 63rd economy in terms of the world's GDP. According to Kenya Trade Data, Kenya is ranked 107th in total exports, 80th in total imports, 96th in total exports, and 146th in GDP per capita in the current US dollars in 2019. According to the statistics, over the last five years, Kenya's exports have increased by $13.6 million while rising from the value of $6.24 billion in 2014 to $6.25 billion in 2019. The whole economic performance of the country is reflected through the gross domestic product percentage ratio. Kenya’s import of goods and services as of GDP percentage is 23.01% and the export of goods and services is 13.18%. 

According to the database of international trade statistics, Kenya Import Export Data by Country states that in the year 2019, China with a value of $3.59B was the top among all the other countries. After which India with $1.71B, United Arab Emirates with $1.63B, Saudi Arabia with the value of $1.25B. Other than these countries, Japan, South Africa, United States, Indonesia, Germany, Egypt, Uganda, United Kingdom, were also to be found on the list. The least value that the listed country held was $134.50, which was Canada's. The total goods imported were of 17billion US dollars, service imports of 4B USD, fuel imports around 19.2%, and food imports around 14.6%. The top import which the country could make in the year 2019 was refined petroleum with around $3.07 Billion. Kenya could change its last five years' imports by -$1.17 billion from $19.9 billion in the year 2014 to around $18.8 billion in 2019.

Kenya Import Data of goods and services comprises the transactions that took place between the residents of Kenya with other countries in terms of general merchandise, nonmonetary gold, net exports of goods under me chanting, and services. Similar to the condition of Kenya's import statistics, China is also the top country in the world as of the year 2019 among the export country. In this year, the export made to this country was 2,643,376 million US dollars. This accounted for 11.40% of the world's total exports made. Other than this, the top five countries include the United States of America, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom. These five countries together accounted for 37.88% of the exports made. Estimated total world's exports were accounted at $23, 183, 728 million US in 2019. The total merchandise exports of the country were 5,839 million US dollars.
